PHOENIX - Wily Peralta, the Milwaukee Brewers' opening-day starter in 2016, takes the mound for the team's Cactus League home opener this afternoon against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Maryvale Baseball Park.

Peralta is expected to pitch around two innings as he continues to ramp up his preparation for the upcoming World Baseball Classic. Peralta will pitch for the Dominican Republic early in the tournament.

Two other WBC participants, Jonathan Villar and Hernan Perez, are in the lineup again today as well at second base and first.

Also, Scooter Gennett gets his first taste of third base. He started in left field against UWM in Friday's exhibition game.
