Clayton predicts $32M deal for Lions' Warford in free agency

Lions free agent offensive lineman Larry Warford should be in for a nice payday, ESPN John Clayton writes in a story forecasting deals for the NFL’s top 25 free agents.

The 6-foot-3, 333-pound guard will likely fetch a four-year deal worth $32 million. That may be a little more than the Lions would be willing to pay, says Clayton, who suggests the team may lose Warford and fellow free agent offensive lineman Riley Reiff.

The ESPN writer also sees former Michigan State star and Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell reaping the rewards of free agency.

Bell will likely get the franchise tag to stay a Steeler, commanding a one-year, $12.19 million deal, Clayton predicts.

Clayton also suggests another Michigan State alum, Kirk Cousins, could get a second straight franchise tag with Washington for $23.88 million a year.
