Tennessee Volunteers quarterback Joshua Dobbs (11) drops back during the second half of the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn., Friday, Dec. 30, 2016.

Former Tennessee quarterback Joshua Dobbs will be one of seven players featured in Jon Gruden’s “QB Camp” series on ESPN.

A signature element of ESPN’s annual pre-NFL Draft coverage, "Gruden’s QB Camp” returns for its eighth year this spring. New episodes of “Gruden’s QB Camp” begin April 11 (TV: ESPN2, 8:30 p.m. EST).

Joining Dobbs in the series will be Clemson’s DeShaun Watson, North Carolina’s Mitch Trubisky, Texas Tech’s Patrick Mahomes, Notre Dame’s DeShone Kizer, Miami’s Brad Kaaya and Pittsburgh’s Nathan Peterman, a UT transfer.

“Dobbs is a dual threat. He’s from a no-huddle offense. He can really create plays with his legs. He played some of his best football when the team was behind and when the game was on the line,” Gruden said in a release. “He brought the Volunteers back to win from double-digit deficits more than any guy in the country. He’s a great kid, very intelligent, and I think he caught people’s attention at the Senior Bowl.”

In the next few weeks, Gruden will welcome the quarterbacks to ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla., where he’ll spend time with each prospect in the film room and on the field. Excerpts of the visits will be featured on the same day on “SportsCenter,” “NFL Live” and other shows.
