Colbert Hilariously Roasts White House Adviser Stephen Miller's Lies

"Late Show" host Stephen Colbert is ready to roast senior White House adviser Stephen Miller. After all, he kind of asked for it.

"Yesterday, Trump sent out a new face... young Gargamel, Stephen Miller," Colbert joked Monday night. "He was on all the Sunday shows," he explained before playing a highlight reel of Miller's bizarrely autocratic performance.

"The end result of this, though, is that our opponents, the media and the whole world will soon see, as we begin to take further actions, that the powers of the president to protect our country are very substantial and will not be questioned," Miller told John Dickerson during his appliance on "Face the Nation."

Colbert couldn't believe it.

"Let me test that theory," he said, as if to Miller. "What the f*ck are you talking about?"

"Miller didn't just talk about the travel ban," he continued. The White House adviser also took hard-hitting questions on Trump's border wall, voter fraud theories and pending court cases.

"This week the Department of Homeland Security estimated that Trump's border wall is going to cost 21.6 billion dollar bills," Colbert recalled. "But Miller says it's a good investment."

"This wall will pay for itself many, many times over," Miller had told John Dickerson on "Face the Nation."

Colbert, stunned, took a long pause.

"It will pay for itself?" he asked finally. "I thought Mexico was paying for it? Now Trump's gonna make the wall pay for the wall?! That's not fair. That's not fair at all!"

"But Miller took his strongest stand," as Colbert said, of the day defending Trump's long held theory of voter fraud; a conspiracy debunked months ago.

"This week, Trump said the only reason he lost New Hampshire is because voters were busting in from Massachusetts. And Miller has the evidence—kinda-sorta."

Miller insisted that his ABC appearance Sunday morning wasn't the right place to discuss allegations of voter fraud, or at least "not all the evidence."

"How about some of the evidence?" Colbert retorted. "Maybe any of the evidence?"

And ironically, "while Miller doesn't want to show any evidence on TV, he will show all of his face on any of it," Colbert pointed out.

"I’m prepared to go on any show, anywhere, anytime," Miller had told ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos.

That gave the "Late Show" host an idea.

"Any show, anywhere, anytime? How about the 'Late Show,' tomorrow, at the Ed Sullivan Theater?” Colbert quipped. "And, listen, if you don't show up, I'm going to call you a liar. And if you do show up, I'm going to call you a liar to your face."
