Farragut High School punter Joe Doyle accepted a preferred walk-on offer from Tennessee on Friday.
He wrote on his Twitter account, "Home sweet home to me" with an orange and #Committed.
The Under Armour All-American went through National Signing Day on Feb. 1 without making a decision.
Doyle was the top uncommitted punting/kicking prospect in the country last week, according to ESPN. He averaged 41.1 yards on 40 punts as a senior, playing a role in Farragut's run to its first Class 5A state championship.
Last week he said he was talking to South Carolina, Memphis, and Arkansas as a preferred walk-on.
Doyle had a scholarship offer from Chattanooga.
