Tykee Ogle-Kellogg, the Class 3A Mr. Football Back of the Year from Alcoa High School, announced a scholarship offer from Tennessee on Monday.

It's the eighth scholarship offer for the 6-foot-5, 195-pound junior wide receiver, who caught 39 passes for 808 yards and 12 touchdowns for state champion Alcoa this past season.

"Coach (Zach) Azzanni called (Monday) after my basketball game," Ogle-Kellogg said Tuesday. "He just talked to me about everything. He was telling me they wanted to offer me, and he could tell I had a big smile on my face."

A three-star prospect, Ogle-Kellogg also holds offers from Louisville, South Carolina and Memphis, among others.

He's considered the No. 77 overall wide receiver in the country and No. 17 player in Tennessee in the 247Sports Composite rankings for the 2018 class. Ogle-Kellogg is the first Alcoa player to win Mr. Football Back honors since Randall Cobb in 2007.

"It’s means a lot," Ogle-Kellogg said. "Having the chance to play in front of my friends and family, that means a lot to me. Not too far from home; being close to my mom and all that. It’s eye opening."
