Vols go live with signing day show

Tennessee's football national signing day will feature a live web show Wednesday on the athletic department website.

The show dubbed "EL17E" runs from 7 a.m. until noon EST at UTsports.com.

Mike Keith, voice of the NFL Tennessee Titans, will host from the Ray and Lucy Hand Studio on campus. In addition to updates as the signed letters of intent arrive, the newest Vols will be showcased in highlights.

Director of player personnel Bob Welton will discuss the signees. Several former UT players will comment on the highlight videos. Keith will interview Butch Jones and members of his coaching staff.

UT encourages fans to welcome the newcomers on social media, tagging posts with #EL17E. The broadcast will include Twitter feed interaction.

At 3 p.m., Jones' press conference to discuss signing day will be live on UTsports.com.

The web site will also broadcast the live signing day celebration, hosted by Bob Kesling, from the Tennessee Theatere at 6:30 p.m.
