Patchy fog to be followed by partly sunny Thursday

Patchy fog overnight and Thursday morning in Milwaukee is expected to be followed by a partly sunny day with unseasonably mild temperatures, according to the National Weather Service in Sullivan.

A high temperature near 44 degrees is expected in Milwaukee Thursday, with patchy fog between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and a southwest wind between 5-10 mph that will become southeasterly in the afternoon, according to the weather service forecast.

The high temperature in Milwaukee Wednesday was 39, 10 degrees higher than normal for Jan. 18, according to the weather service.
