Police investigate non-fatal shooting

Milwaukee police officers are investigating the motive for a non-fatal shooting late Thursday on the city's northwest side, authorities said.

The shooting occurred around 11 p.m. Thursday at 11400 W. Silver Spring Dr., near Lovers Lane.

A 27-year-old male was taken to a hospital for treatment of a single gunshot wound and he is expected to survive, police said.

Police are searching for a suspect in the shooting.
