Road rage might have led to a shooting that wounded a 23-year-old man Thursday night on Milwaukee's north side, police said.

The shooting was reported about 8 p.m. in the 3800 block of N. 68 St., according to a news release from the Milwaukee Police Department.

Police are still investigating what led to the shooting, but the preliminary investigation is pointing to it being sparked by road rage, the release said.

The man was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive his injuries, according to police.
