The Milwaukee Brewers, who claimed right-hander Blake Parker on waivers from the Los Angeles Angels on Nov. 23, lost him back to that club Friday on another waiver claim.

It was the second time this off-season the Angels claimed Parker on waivers. They snatched him away from the New York Yankees on Oct. 5, only to lose him to the Brewers a month ago. New York had claimed Parker, 31, from Seattle on Aug. 9. In 16 relief outings with the Yankees, he was 1-0 with a 4.96 earned run average.

The Brewers waived Parker with the hope he would go unclaimed and be kept in the minors while creating an opening on the 40-man roster. Earlier in the off-season, they lost outfielder Adam Walker (Minnesota) and reliever Steve Geltz (Tampa Bay) after claiming them on waivers and then putting them back through waivers.
