Milwaukee man injured in overnight shooting

A 44-year-old Milwaukee man was seriously injured late Thursday in a shooting in the 2600 block of W. Galena St., authorities said.

The shooting occurred around 10:55 p.m., Milwaukee police said. It remains under investigation.

The male victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
