5 Versatile Crabtree and Evelyn Products You've Got to Try

Unless you have a sprawling bathroom and an endless supply of cash, I'm guessing that time-to-time you may be strapped for both disposable income and of course physical space. In either instance (or perhaps both because it never hurts to be frugal) you want to ensure that your beauty products work little more efficiently for you, especially those everyday essentials. With that in mind, I have teamed up with Crabtree and Evelyn to share not only my top five must-try products, but to also offer a new insight on how to use such items a little less traditionally.

5 Versatile Crabtree and Evelyn Products You've Got to Try

Crabtree and Evelyn Lily Hand Therapy (100g) £11.20
Crabtree and Evelyn are perhaps best known for their hand care products, most notably their luxe, beautifully scented yet deeply hydrating hand creams. The ultra nourishing formula - regardless of which scent you choose, I settled on Lily as it is light and fresh - contains a skin replenishing blend of shea butter, ceramides 3 and 6II and macadamia nut oil to ensure that the skin is deeply moisturised and cared for each use. But why stop at applying this non-greasy, yet quick to work lotion on just your hands when it can also soften and care for the often neglected areas of the body such as the feet, knees and elbows.

Crabtree and Evelyn Lily Hand Wash (250ml) £10.50
As we all wash our hands fairly regularly it is important that we rely on a kind to the skin formulation that won't dry nor chap the hands - even more so now that the colder months are upon us. If you are anything like me and like to match your hand cream to your hand soap, you are in luck as it just so happens that the Crabtree and Evelyn hand wash range is beyond gentle. Unlike your run-of-the-mill hand cleansers, Crabtree and Evelyn Lily Hand Wash (other scents options are available) has been pH balanced so that despite numerous uses in one day, your hands will not dry out nor become irritated - if anything it gently conditions the skin with each wash. Now I know that not everyone will agree with me but personally I find hand soap to be one of the best make-up brush cleansing options around; as Crabtree and Evelyn Lily Hand Wash is both gentle yet deep cleansing it perfect for removing even the toughest of foundation stains.

5 Versatile Crabtree and Evelyn Products You've Got to Try

Crabtree and Evelyn Goatmilk Hand Wash
As you may know, I suffer occasionally from Eczema, I am fortunate that it is a very mild bout but the skin around my wrists does become inflamed and very easily irritated each winter. As such I do have to be very selective with what I use around such condition as and when it arises, one product I could not be without is Crabtree and Evelyn Goatmilk Hand Wash; this soap free formula has been enriched with an abundance of skin soothing ingredients such as: Goat’s Milk, Oat Kernel, Bisabolol, Allantoin and Vitamin E to cleanse even the most sensitive of skin types. Much like the aforementioned hand wash, this too is pH balanced to ensure your skin is cared for with each use. If like myself you do have a skin complaint, and as such find heavily fragranced body washes et al to be irritating, why not try using Goat’s Milk, Oat Kernel, Bisabolol, Allantoin and Vitamin E in place of a shower gel? It won't irritate the skin (it anything I find it calms any irritation I may have) and despite not containing a trace of soap, it does a great job of removing all signs of the day with a comforting, silky, texture.

5 Versatile Crabtree and Evelyn Products You've Got to Try

Crabtree and Evelyn West Indian Lime Hair and Body Wash (500ml) £15
Now I know what you are thinking, surely in a pinch you could use any shower gel as a shampoo? To an extent that is possibly true but as most are formulated for the body and not the hair, you may find that your tresses feel a little drier than normal and perhaps lank? If you do like multi-purpose cleansers, the product you should next invest in is Crabtree and Evelyn West Indian Lime Hair and Body Wash. Sure it smells incredible (zesty and uplifting) but the formulation is really what is note worthy here, unlike a traditional body wash, this contains glycerine for additional moisture to ensure that neither your skin nor hair, becomes parched with frequent use. As this does foam, you could add a little to running water and enjoy the rich yet fruity aroma while relaxing in a warm bath - a great reward to come home to if you've really put in the effort at the gym.

5 Versatile Crabtree and Evelyn Products You've Got to Try

Crabtree and Evelyn Avocado and Olive Oil Milled Soap (158g) £7
Soap you don't need me to tell you on how to use it but you may be looking for a great moisture rich option? If so I recommend the Crabtree and Evelyn Avocado and Olive Oil Milled Soap, as this is vegetable based your skin will benefit from the naturally hydrating oils present as well as the antioxidant (great for preventing skin damage) qualities of shea butter and evening primrose oil. No I do not recommend washing your face with this or any bar of soap for that matter but if you are looking for a quick and easy way to cleanse your hands or body, this is a wonderful addition to any bathroom. The great thing about a bar of soap is that you can cut it into chunks and travel with it, safe in the knowledge that it won't leak nor will it be confiscated at the airport.

Do you have any must-try Crabtree and Evelyn products you would recommend? Or perhaps any tips to make any of the above products go a little further?
