Milwaukee police are investigating two Friday night shootings, which resulted in the hospitalization of two men.

Police said a 23-year-old man was standing on a street corner near N. 28th St. and W. Elder Wallace Drive at about 8:40 p.m. when he was shot. The man was taken to an undisclosed hospital with a "very serious" injury, police said.

About 90 minutes later, near N. 17th St. and W. Galena St., a 26-year-old man was shot during an altercation with his drug dealer, police said. The man was hospitalized with a non-life threatening injury.
