Phase II Chelsea model at Naples Square offers contemporary design

Submitted by Caffrey & Associates

With construction of 73 Phase II residences on schedule for completion in first quarter 2017, and just 11 Phase II residences available for purchase, The Ronto Group announced Baer’s Furniture’s interior designer Janet Graham, ASID has finalized her design concept and furniture selections for the Phase II Chelsea model at Naples Square. Only one Phase II residence featuring the Chelsea floor plan remains available.

Naples Square is being developed by Ronto at the corner of Fifth Avenue South and Goodlette-Frank Road in downtown Naples. Naples Square’s walkable lifestyle is bringing a sense of cohesion to downtown by connecting Fifth Avenue to Bayfront with access on 10th Street via Third Avenue South. The walkable lifestyle and availability of one- and two-story, two- and three-bedroom plus den Phase II floor plans, with open-concept living areas and open-air terraces priced starting in the $600s, continue to generate strong sales and luxury homebuyer traffic.

Graham is bringing a soft contemporary design style to the Phase II Chelsea model, one of three furnished models included in the Phase II offering. The Phase II Chelsea two-bedroom plus den, two-and-a-half bath floor plan includes 1,843 square feet of air-conditioned living space and a 238-square-foot balcony. The great room, master bedroom, and guest bedroom all open to the balcony. The plan features a kitchen with a peninsula counter height bar and food preparation area with a double sink and dishwasher. The owner’s suite includes double walk-in closets and a bath with a glass-enclosed shower and tub and separate vanities.

While the Chelsea model’s color palette of off-white, cream, beige and pure white may suggest a coastal feel, the design will convey a more sophisticated urban look and reflect the vibrancy of the downtown Naples location. Off-white walls will complement 12-by-24-inch porcelain wood-look tile flooring presented in pale cream with a subtle taupe variation. The tile will run throughout the main area into the guest room and onto the balcony.

The foyer entry will have a built in-niche on the right for colorful contemporary artwork and will be lit by pin lights above. The left side will be open to the great room and kitchen to create an immediate sense of generous space and light. A dining table will feature an Italian glass top with raindrop bubbles embedded in the glass. The raindrop bubbles will sparkle when lit from the chandelier above. Four clean lined transitional design chairs upholstered in a creamy fabric will complete the setting.

The great room will feature a transitional sectional sofa upholstered in an off-white Sunbrella fabric conducive to a relaxed and comfortable lifestyle. Two occasional chairs will be set by the balcony doors. The chairs will be in a cream and white geometric print and will pair with a chrome side table. The cocktail table will be a large off-white leather rectangle with a polished chrome X-leg base. The large feature wall opposite the sectional will have a custom built-in media console and component storage. A center console will have a cream quartz top and a 54-inch flat screen television will be mounted above on a wall painted with a custom metallic treatment. Tall built-in alcoves will flank the media console and will have transitional pendant lights installed above.

The kitchen perimeter and island cabinetry will be finished in a White Chocolate Truffle tone and paired with chrome hardware. White quartz countertops will be accented by a shimmering glass chicklet backsplash in sparkling shades of pale green, watery blue and subtly iridescent silver. Three chrome pendants will top the quartz counter height bar and four leather barstools will fit comfortably. The barstools will be clad in a light cream metallic leather and have a white finish applied to the legs.

In the guest room, Graham has opted for a sleeper sofa upholstered in an off-white Sunbrella fabric for easy care and maintenance. The great room’s tile flooring will continue into the guest room and will be complemented by a cream rug. A cocktail table constructed of two large silver metallic blocks will add metropolitan style. A club chair will be upholstered in a geometric patterned fabric and will be accompanied by a set of chrome nesting tables. The feature wall will be custom built with 18-by-18-inch cubes running up both sides and across the top of the wall. Each of the cubes will be lit by pin lights installed within and provide custom display space. The outside surfaces of the built-in with be in a light wood veneer paneling. A builtin desk will be topped with white quartz and be paired with a contemporary taupe leather desk chair. A flat-screen television will be mounted above the desk.

The owner’s suite is designed to provide a tranquil retreat in a contemporary urban setting. The porcelain tile will transition to a wave patterned wall to wall carpeting and the windows will be dressed with light and airy cream fabric panels. The walls will be painted in a subdued off-white to let the bed take center stage. The nightstands and dresser will have a high gloss cream top and mirror accented fronts with chrome hardware. A small off-white transitional club chair will be placed in the front corner.

The master bath flooring will revert to the initial porcelain tile which will also be installed in the shower and the built-in tub surround. The shower will have two vertical 8-inch wide inserts of the chicklet tile used in the kitchen and the same glass tile will be used as a trim on the tub surround. The vanity cabinetry will match the White Chocolate Truffle finish and transitional style found in the kitchen and will be topped by white quartz counters. The subdued color palette will allow the tone-on-tone zebra patterned wallpaper to make an impression and lend a bit of sophisticated whimsy to the bath.

On the balcony, the owners will be able to entertain and enjoy the street scene with a 40-inch round dining table and four chairs. Two club chairs with ottomans will flank a 24-inch table outside the owners’ suite.
