Popeyes sells Cajun turkey for Thanksgiving and it's very good

Popeye's may have your last minute solution for Thanksgiving.

Oh no! It's Wednesday afternoon and Thursday is Thanksgiving and you're realizing right now that either a) you have not yet lined up a turkey, b) you do not have enough turkey to feed yourself and your family, or, most pressingly, c) you fear the turkey you purchased and plan to prepare will not taste enough like something from Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, colloquially and heretofore known simply as Popeyes Chicken.

Well, good news: Popeyes Chicken sells turkeys. You should call your location Popeyes location to order one, or at least to ensure they still have some in stock, but the three Popeyes near my apartment that I surveyed this week all had multiple turkeys available to me. I purchased but one of them. It cost $44. It comes frozen but pre-cooked, and looks like this in its packaging:

Turkey from Popeyes Chicken is good enough and turkey-ish enough that I would guess if you purchased it and served it at your home on Thanksgiving and played it off like you made it yourself, your family would praise your sudden ability to incorporate "zesty" Cajun flavors into the traditional bird. It's surprisingly good, better than most turkey, and a great conduit for Popeyes Chicken's incredible gravy, assuming you can get your hands on some.
