Looks Like We Made It!

I wrote this on the day the Kickstarter campaign for Grow Curious ended and then posted it to the backers update page, but I wanted to post it here as well in case there are any of you who missed it. I have also been continuing to send out personal messages to everyone who backed the project, but if you haven’t heard from me yet it is because I am still working my way through the list. Again, I just want to say how grateful I am to everyone who participated. The spirit of community support that rose up in those last few days was a powerful and very meaningful experience for me on a deeply personal level and something I will not forget.

What a day! I woke up this morning to the project at 99% funded and there you were in the early hours, tweeting, sharing, cheering, and pushing to make it happen! Minutes later, before I was barely even coherent, it was at 100%!! I couldn’t believe what had just happened and it has taken me the whole day to fully take it all in. The book is happening!

And now the campaign has completed, ending at 107% and with 413 backers!!

Thank you all for getting us over the finish line and for being there through this month of madness. Now that we’re here, you can expect to hear more as the process unfolds. Depending on the reward, there will also be some questions coming your way in the next few months.

Both Davin and I look forward to completing this book and getting into your hands this spring!! Woo hoo!!

  1. I wish I had known about this – I would have loved to contribute! Guess that’s what I get for not checking my blog feeds regularly. Congratulations on reaching your goal and I can’t WAIT to read the book!
