Trees catch fire in Fillmore

Multiple trees caught fire Tuesday night in Fillmore, officials said.

Crews responded at 9:35 p.m. to the blaze in the 500 block of Santa Clara Street in Fillmore, according to the Ventura County Fire Department.

Crews from the Fillmore Fire Department were also on the scene and reported that multiple trees were on fire. The blaze was knocked down at 10:07 p.m., officials said.

The flames spread to a nearby storage facility, but authorities said the extension of the fire was minor. A fire investigator was called to the scene, officials said.
