Man arrested in Milwaukee east side homicide

A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a homicide of a woman on Milwaukee's east side.

The victim, Kayla A. Bauske, 23, was found dead about 10:30 p.m. Monday in a residence in the 1800 block of N. Arlington Place, according to a news release from the Milwaukee Police Department.

The circumstances, including the time and cause of death, remain under investigation. The suspect and Bauske were acquaintances, police said.

Bauske was the fourth person killed Monday in Milwaukee. Three men were shot to death within two hours earlier in the day.

Milwaukee police identified those three victims Tuesday.

The first victim, who was found fatally shot in a business at the 3500 block of W. Silver Spring Drive, was identified as Michael J. Patton, 44. Police continue to search for suspects.

The second man, who was shot and killed in the 3200 block of N. 24th St., was identified as Derrick D. Ball, 46. Police are seeking a known male suspect.

The third victim, who was shot to death in the 1000 block of W. Wright St., was identified as Quamari L. Carr, 23. A 22-year-old man was arrested Monday.
