Photos: North Shore Bank time capsule opened after 20 years

McKenna then places the items in a basket. North Shore Bank marked the 20th anniversary of its King Drive branch by removing a time capsule that was placed at the bank when it first opened in 1996. The items from the capsule will be displayed at the branch. New items were placed in the time capsule and it was resealed. It will be opened again in another 20 years. The bank on Monday also highlighted its contributions to the community around the bank and its customers.

People gather at the King Drive branch of North Shore Bank to listen to speakers marking the 20th anniversary of the bank. As part of the celebration, the bank opened a time capsule that was sealed in 1996 when the branch opened.  During Monday's ceremony, the bank also highlighted its contributions to the neighborhood.
