CHAMBERSBURG - According to Chambersburg Police, police and EMS responded to a suspected heroin overdose at 3:13 p.m. Oct. 21 on Lincoln Road. The male victim was conscious and he was treated and taken to the hospital for further evaluation.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Chambersburg Police said five female juveniles were charged with disorderly conduct Oct. 21 after numerous juveniles were involved in an altercation in the 500 block of East McKinley Street.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: Omar Dallas Motley is charged with public drunkenness after police said he attempted to enter a vehicle through the sunroof during an argument at 3:23 p.m. Oct. 19 on Garber Street. According to Chambersburg Police, Motley violated his probation by consuming alcohol and was taken to Franklin County Jail.

Lurgan Township

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE: Shawn Michael Alexander is charged with theft of a motor vehicle after a vehicle was reported stolen between 5:40 and 6 p.m. Oct. 19 from the Blue Mountain Restaurant at 17680 Cumberland Highway. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg, Alexander was driving the vehicle on Route 997 in Lurgan Township Oct. 20. Police said Alexander also had stolen a vehicle in Shippensburg a few days earlier, and that he was wanted for escaping from a Department of Corrections rehab facility in Reading.

Peters Township

CRASH: Robert L. Norris, 67, Mercersburg, sustained a suspected minor injury in a one-vehicle crash at 1:25 p.m.Oct. 21 on Buchanan Trail West. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg, Norris lost control of his vehicle, which hit the guard rail before entering the left side of the highway and overturning once before landing on its roof. Norris was cited with a traffic violation.

Guilford Township

CRASH: One person suffered a suspected minor injury after a one-vehicle accident at 11:13 a.m. Oct. 20 on Falling Spring Road. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg, Kylee J. Hoffman, 19, Chambersburg, looked away from the road to pick up change and the vehicle left the road, hit an embankment, re-entered the road and overturned. A 6-year-old passenger suffered a suspected minor injury. Hoffman was cited with a traffic violation.
