I love my bright blue front door. It is one of my favorite features of the front of the house. Last Halloween I added some fun bats to our front door. The kids and I were chatting and decided we wanted to do something again this Halloween. As we were brainstorming ideas, I said Cookie Monster… but then we just kept throwing out ideas. Circle around to the next day and I came across the most adorable Cookie Monster Pumpkin and that sealed the day. So let me present this year’s Cookie Monster Door:

This is a super simple project to do! All you need is a big blue door, a piece of black poster board and some colored paper. I used my Cricut Explore to cut everything but the mouth out, but you could easily do this with scissors. The eyes are 8″, the pupils are 3.5″. The cookies are 3.5″ and 4″. I used a black marker to draw on some chocolate chips on the cookies. I used a large piece of black posterboard for the mouth and just freehand cut the shape. I used masking tape to adhere the pieces to the door.
