5 crashes at Mitchell Interchange in wet conditions

Five accidents have been reported during wet conditions this morning on southbound Interstate 43-94 at the Mitchell Interchange, the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office reports.

Driving too fast for conditions appears to be a factor in each of the crashes, according to the sheriff's office.

The right southbound lane is closed at 15th St. due to at least one of the crashes, according to the Department of Transportation.
