Simple, reliable, rugged Apache sprayer

img_1675“The Apache sprayer is a simple, reliable, rugged self-propelled sprayer designed and built with the farmer in mind.”

Kevin Covey, General Manager of Product Support with Equipment Technologies told Brownfield that in a time of low commodity prices keeping the pencil sharp is less challenging with Apache sprayers because they are less expensive to own and maintain and easy to repair.

The all mechanical drive Apache sprayer is light weight so there is less soil compaction.  Covey said the Apache sprayer weighs less loaded than most competitors do empty.  New for 2017, the introduction of a 100 foot aluminum boom as an option on the sprayer will even lessen compaction as the aluminum boom weighs half of what the steel boom weighs.  Also new in 2017 is stainless steel boom pipe as an option that farmers have been asking for.

Apache prides itself on what happens after the sale.  Covey tells Brownfield Apache is known for its reliability and service and a great dealer network throughout North America.

Keeping new innovations and technologies for the farmer at the forefront, Apache has announced the factory install option of Raven Chemical Injection with 2 pump options to help better target herbicide resistant weeds.  Also new in 2017 is the factory install of the Raven Hawkeye nozzle control system to improve the precision and distribution of the spray across the entire length of the boom.

2017 is the 20th anniversary of the Apache sprayer.  Covey tells Brownfield his company will continue to bring innovation to the market.

“Being able to bring innovation to the market for the 20 years, we’re really excited about that,” said Covey.
