Walmart announces quarterly bonuses

More than 9,000 employees of Walmart’s New Mexico stores were paid second quarter bonuses of as much as $500 to recognize achievement of sales and customer service goals.
The chain’s incentive program paid out a total of $1.8 million in New Mexico to workers in stores that met or exceeded their goals. Bonuses are paid out four times a year.
“At Walmart, we believe in investing in our associates and providing them opportunities to learn and grow,” said Paula Ginnett, Walmart vice president and regional general manager for New Mexico.
