Mary Jordan, 33, of Sandusky, Ohio, is accused of assaulting a McDonald's employee in Bellevue, Ohio, but is going back to prison before the trial because of a probation violation in another case.

BELLEVUE, Ohio —  A woman accused of assaulting a McDonald's employee for working too slowly has been sent to prison for violating probation for a previous offense.

Mary Jordan, 33, of Sandusky, Ohio, was on probation after serving a 20-month prison term received in March 2014 for two counts of complicity to commit forgery when she was arrested in connection with the June 8 McDonald's assault.

Jordan smiled widely in her police mugshot and was charged with one misdemeanor count each of assault and child endangerment in the Bellevue incident. She was sentenced Aug. 26 to seven months in prison for violating terms of her probation in the 2014 case.

Jordan and two other Sandusky women, Ashley England 29, and Sammie Whaley, 31, allegedly attacked the Bellevue McDonald's employee at 1:48 p.m. ET June 8 because the employee was working too slowly on their orders, according to the Bellevue Police Department. Police allege the three women waited for the worker to leave her shift at the restaurant and then attacked her in the parking lot.

The McDonald's worker was injured, but the restaurant's owner and operator, Tom Humbard, said in June that she was getting better.

"We're grateful that our employee is recovering, but horrified that she was attacked. We thank the customers and employees who helped her, and the police for tracking down the suspects," Humbard's statement said then.

The child endangerment charges were filed because the women's children were present while the assault was happening, police officials said. Assault and child endangerment charges are still pending against Jordan and England in connection with the June 8 incident.

England was scheduled for a pretrial hearing Monday to discuss evidence, but nothing further came from the hearing.

Whaley pleaded no contest to assault charges June 9 and was found guilty, fined $100 and placed on non-reporting probation. Whaley will not face jail time as long as she has no similar offenses for the next year.
