It’s time for back to school, which means library books and reading every evening for my three kids. Although most of the books in our lives our eBooks now, my kids do still have library once a week with the chance to bring home a couple of books each. While prepping some back to school DIY supplies for my local news station I whipped up some button bookmarks. As I was putting those together, the google eyes on my shelf caught my eye and these DIY Google Eye Bookmarks were born.
These are super simple to make, so grab your kids, the supplies below and start making some adorable goofy bookmarks!
Google Eye Bookmarks Supplies:
Paper Clips
Google Eyes
Buttons
Hot Glue Gun
Felt (optional)
Directions:
Hot glue a google eye to a button.
Hot glue the button to the top of a paper clip.
To give the back of the bookmark a cleaner appearance, cut a small amount of felt and hot glue it to the back of the button, covering the paperclip.
That’s all there is too these silly little bookmarks!
