There’s definitely a revival for colour correctors – I’ve just got my hands on the Urban Decay Naked Skin Colour Correcting Fluid collection and they’re very impressive. Although the shades are fairly standard for colour correctors (will run through them in a moment), the formula is nicely fluid and doesn’t seep into creases which is a huge bonus for anyone who isn’t 19.
It feels more or less weightless, blends perfectly and is definitely a step-up – the formula, apparently is based on their Naked Skin Concealer so if you’ve used that, you’ll have a better idea of how light this feels compared to other, heavier formula colour correctors.
So… Green is for redness (spots and broken blood vessels – if you’re using on a spot, pop it on a cotton bud instead of using the wand directly), Lavender is for sallowness (acts as a brightener), Pink disguises dark circles and is good for paler tones, Yellow conceals purple hued marks such as under-eye circles and Yellow is for dark circles too but better for darker tones (I use this one) – any blue rather than purple toned marks will do better with this shade.
If you’re going for the ultimate ‘flawless’ base, colour correctors are very handy and lightness of product is important so that your skin can breath and doesn’t feel caked and weighed down. These are definitely keepers for me and are £17.50 HERE.

I’ll take the green please. Unfortunately, I get a bit of redness in my cheeks and around the nose. The brightening lavender sounds great too!

I’ve never really been into colour correctors but I have a lot of redness so I think one might be worth investing in. Will have to check these ones out as I love UD as a brand!

Nice review! I just wrote a post on color correcting. I love these concealers but haven’t bought any yet.
That’s a nice-looking green. I find some are too intensely green, which over-does things and makes my red bits ghostly white, instead of knocking back to neutral.
