Sarah Chapman Lash Boosting Eye Cleanse
Sarah Chapman Lash Boosting Eye Cleanse

Why did nobody think of this before? I know there are ‘conditioning’ lash cleansers aplenty, mainly relying on Vitamin E to do any real lash conditioning work, but a cleanser that improves length and thickness (you can use it on brows, too) is really very interesting. There’s just no reason not to use this if it’s in an affordable range for you, because I think the benefits, particularly if your lashes or brows are sparse or thin, aren’t to be argued with.

Bearing in mind that I haven’t had Sarah Chapman Lash Boosting Eye Cleanse for long enough to tell you whether it truly works or not, I’m taking a leap of faith because in general I find Sarah Chapman products very good (terrible for slack fill, but you can’t have everything apparently) and do the job they say they will. It was genuinely a surprise that the Cleanse isn’t a balm texture – it’s more of an oily water, but not as oily as other eye cleansers I’ve used. A bit micellar-ish but more hydrating. I was testing the new Ciate Wonderlash (review coming up but billed as longwearing) earlier and used Sarah Chapman Lash Boosting Eye Cleanse to remove – it did so very effectively and left my eye area feeling hydrated but not oily.

Don’t forget to include wiping over your brows (whether they need cleansing or not) every time as well. You can also use it as a five minute eye soak by wetting a cotton pad and leaving it over the eye area – it’s perfect for someone like me on the laptop all day and contains cucumber and damask rose water, so it does have a soothing feel.

I have to say I feel very convinced by Sarah Chapman Lash Boosting Eye Cleanse – I’ll be using it going forward so will post a further review in a couple of months. The product is HERE on pre-order (shipping early September).
