Special; Ruidoso council meeting set for Tuesday

Budget adjustments and future capital improvement projects are subjects to be discussed during a special Ruidoso Village Council meeting

A special meeting of the Ruidoso Village Council to go over budget issues and to review the village’s Infrastructure Capital Improvement Project list is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The council will meet in chambers at the Ruidoso Administrative Center, 313 Cree Meadows Drive.
The agenda includes possible adoption of Resolution 2016-13, amending the Fiscal Year 2016 budget quarter ending June 30, 2016, for some funds and an application to the Local Government Division of the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration for approval. Councilors also are scheduled to possibly take action to adopt Resolution 2016-14, approving the Final Quarter Financial Report for Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2016, along with an application for approval by the state agency. 
The recently announced $1 million grant award from the Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration for reconstruction of the Main Road No. 1 Bridge will be formally accepted, and councilors will discuss priorities and solicitation of public input on the 
Infrastructure Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Years 2018-2022. 
A closed session will follow dealing with the purchase, acquisition and/or disposal of real property and/or water rights by the village. Any action taken as a result of the closed session will be brought back into open session.
