U.S. and Cuban ag groups formalize agreement

Programs ICONU.S. agriculture groups and a Cuban agribusiness group have formalized an agreement that will benefit the food and ag industry.

The memorandum of understanding will re-establish the Cuban marketplace for U.S. food and ag products and calls for regular meetings between the groups.

The American Soybean Association, a member of the U.S. Agriculture Coalition for Cuba, says the move will ensure American producers and Cuban buyers have what they need as the relationship grows.
