Lions cut undrafted rookie offensive lineman Johnson

The Lions waived offensive lineman Darius Johnson on Tuesday with an injury designation.

Johnson was an undrafted rookie from Middle Tennessee State who signed with the Lions after trying out during rookie minicamp earlier this month.

It’s unclear what Johnson’s injury is and when he suffered it. The Lions started their organized team activities on Tuesday.
