Westrafo is seeking a energetic and self-motivated individual with Medium and High Voltage Transformer production experience. The candidate will be working as Production Manager and shall be technically sound in power transformers and in the workflow organization of a transformer manufacturing plant. He/she shall be hands-on and possessing good organization and interpersonal skills. He/She will take care of the productive organization and quality level of parts, components, assemblies, subassemblies, and systems; He/she will ensure that production and logistic are made in an efficient, cost effective and timely manner while meeting customer expectations.

Job Description

Job Title: Production Manager

Typical duties/responsibilities for engineering may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage transformer procurement via coordination of logistic/raw materials.
• Cure quality documentation related to manufacture
• Order materials for the transformer production.
• Organize service activities.
• Plan, conduct, coordinate, and develop production taking care of the himan resources present and of the workflow.
• Additional duties may be assigned, as required.

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or  significative experience in the requested position. for at least 5 years.
• 5+ years of professional experience working with transformers

Required Skills:

• Working knowledge of Power, Distribution and special transformers
• Working experience with all commonly used transformers types

Desirable Skills:

• Working knowledge in the power transformers
• Working experience with different types of transformers
• Highly proactive with an inherent sense of urgency on all tasks presented
• Diligent, detail and goal oriented, highly analytical and innovative
• Responsible and accountable team player and individual contributor
