Allen Park — The Lions already have two of their 10 draft picks under contract, and the rest should follow soon.

Long snapper Jimmy Landes, a sixth-round pick from Baylor, agreed to terms on his four-year deal Thursday, which includes a signing bonus of $100,356.

The Lions also signed sixth-round defensive lineman Anthony Zettel, according to the National Football Post. The former Penn State player, the 202nd overall pick, received a signing bonus of $123,724, per the report.

With the collective bargaining agreement from 2011, rookie salaries and bonuses are slotted by draft position, so the deals don’t require much negotiating.

Detroit’s rookies arrived in town Thursday in advance of this weekend’s rookie minicamp, which starts Friday. Many of the other picks likely will agree to their contracts by the end of the weekend. All will be four-year deals except first-round offensive tackle Taylor Decker, whose contract will have a fifth-year team option.
