The Detroit News
Former Lions receiver Brett Perriman, who had been on life support in a Miami hospital after collapsing, reportedly is showing signs of improvement.
Andy Slater of WINZ 940 AM in Miami, said a family member told him that Perriman “was showing many signs of improvement on Thursday morning and is no longer using a breathing machine.”
Perriman, 50, was taken to the hospital Tuesday with high blood pressure.
Perriman played for the Lions from 1991-96. He also played for the Saints, Chiefs and Dolphins over 10 NFL seasons.
