Impression Obsession Summer 2016 Release Blog Hop Day 2

Good Monday morning and welcome to day two of the Impression Obsession Summer Stamp Blog Hop. Our team has some beautiful projects to share and prizes to give away!  You can check out all the details on the Impression Obsession Blog.  Make sure you visit and comment on all the team posts for a chance to win.

My project today is a clean and simple patriotic card made using the new Flag Crew Silhouette and the frames were made using my Nesting Card Templates.

I stamped the image using my Mini MISTI and Festive Berries distress ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.

I wanted to use the red, white and blue of the American flag for my frame.  I created the double matted frame using the red and blue and attached them together using thin strips of mounting tape. I applied ATG adhesive to the back of the frame and attached to the card base.

I cut the thin white frame, applied rolled up double stick tape to the back of it and attached it to the front of the frame.
