Designer Denim On Sale at Bloomingdales!

Hey guys, I don’t usually do two posts in the same day, but somehow this sale slipped under my radar, and it ends tonight, so I wanted to be sure to give you a heads-up before it’s too late!

I talk a lot about the value of designer denim, and I promised to let you know when I see a good sale. Well, Bloomingdales has a “Private Sale” going on right now, and many of their designer jeans are reduced!!! Plus if you’re a Loyalist, you can earn $25 in Power Points for every $100 you spend with code SAVE25! That’s a pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

Both the Emma and Florence styles that I talk about a lot are included in the sale. Here are all of the DL1961 Emma Legging Jeans. I have them in a wash similar to the Cashel and Gable. I feel like I wear these all the time lately. I swear, they feel like pajamas.

If you want a white jean, the Porcelain is fabulous too, so super soft.

All of the Florence styles are marked down too. My favorite white jeans are the Florence in Milk. They are nice and thick but still have plenty of stretch. The Milk wash tends to be a bit stiffer and thicker than the Porcelain, but I like and recommend both.

What’s the difference??? Good question. The Emma is a legging jean, and the Florence is a traditional skinny jean. The Emma is slightly tighter, has a slightly lower rise, and is 1-inch shorter than the Florence.

DL1961 isn’t the only brand on sale. It appears that most of their designer denim is marked down.

I have this pair of J.Brand Low Rise Ankle Skinny Jeans in Demented. If you like the distressed styling, you will LOVE these jeans. They are so flattering and comfortable. Also, the white denim is thick enough that they aren’t see-through, but I always wear nude underwear under my white denim to be on the safe side.

The super popular AG Legging Jeans are also on sale.

And for a looser fit, the Cigarette style is amazing on. I have this pair, and I used to wear them all the time. I really need to give them more air time.

Okay, you get the point! If you’ve been wanting to invest in a pair of designer denim, this is a great opportunity to do so!

  1. Thanks for the heads up on this! Your descriptions about each pants are really helpful.

Jeans are my fav. It’s so worth it to spend extra $$ on those that fit well, even if they need slight tailoring. Most people don’t fit off the rack perfectly. I usually have to hem the bottoms. I wear them so often I should probably stop buying from Old Navy. The ones I bought last month feel like they are starting to wear out already….. 🙁 Do you wash your jeans in cold water on the gentle cycle and hang dry them? I don’t like the stiff wrinkled feeling after so I am a bad girl and throw them in the wash and dryer!!!

    1. I do wash on cold and hang dry, but I don’t notice them being too stiff – I think designer denim overall is a lot less stiff than the regular stuff made overseas. 🙂
