For many, coffee doesn’t feel like a luxury—it just feels like a necessity and a way to get the day started. But Coronini Cafe is a way to make the cup a day a lavish experience. Designed by Milos Milovanovic, Coronini Cafe aims to make the coffee experience a sophisticated and refined one in the growing business of micro roasting cafes in Slovenia.

“Packaging design for a micro roasting company T&R Kava d.o.o. and their brand called Coronini Cafe, located in Slovenia. Coffee drinking culture and micro coffee roasters are on the rise in Slovenia, and therefore they decided to set up a new company that would offer various high end coffee mixtures as well as single origin coffee from all over the world. It’s started with 2 coffee mixtures—100% arabica and 85% arabica 15% robusta. Brand name is Coronini, which was the name of the local count dynasty.”

Coronini Cafe oozes opulence. Black on black gives off an air of confidence, while the font and graphics look like they’re fit for a king. Gold and silver foil immediately express a sense of higher quality, attracting customers who truly want to revel in a delicious cup of coffee and not just get one and go.

“The concept is using labels on matte coffee bags with glossy foil print of the logo, while the same printing method is used and for the cans, printed on paper and wrapped around. Labels are printed with touches of gold and silver foil, which would indicate prestige/luxury and sophisticated characteristics and a higher price point of their coffee. Using monogram is created and pattern, which can be used for various applications—on packaging, wrapping paper and business cards.”
