Marc Jacobs Make Up At Harrods
Marc Jacobs Make Up At Harrods

Marc Jacobs beauty has had a soft launch at Harrods (on line only for now) – all the bells and whistles will come later after it’s fully been revealed to bloggers and press – so it’s sitting there right now, pre-rush!

I have used Marc Jacobs in the past (there has been a selection sitting in the Marc Jacobs store in Mount Street for at least a couple of years) but have nothing current. However, because I love a gloss, that’s where I headed first with this brand – I bought it in New York – and can genuinely recommend them as a very good starting point. I had a beautiful nude shade (Moonglow and French Tickle look gorgeous HERE) and I wish I still had it but the selection that Harrods has contains some very sumptuous corally pink shades that are perfect. If I’m buying, that’s what I’ll head for. Beautizine in Canda, where they’ve had access to MJ Beauty for ages has some swatches of the glosses HERE.

It’s also worth grabbing the petite gel eye liner set above, because at £32 HERE, it seems like a good way to get to know the brand a little better with plenty of liner options. I think it will be one of the first things to totally sell out. Full size gel liners are £19 each.

I’m hoping that I’ll be able to see more and make more recommendations in a couple of weeks – I remember being beside myself (in a fluffy beauty way!) with excitement when this collection launched in the US and I know it’s a particularly coveted brand here in the UK (mainly because it’s always been so difficult to get).
