Fieldwork wraps up in South Dakota

Warmer than normal weather allowed most of South Dakota to wrap up fall fieldwork last week.

69% of winter wheat is rated good to excellent and 48% of pastures and rangelands are in good to excellent shape.

69% of the state has adequate stock water supplies.

The South Dakota USDA office will issue monthly crop reports from January though March, with weekly numbers resuming in April.
