The deadline for Minnesota farmers to apply for the Department of Agriculture’s (MDA) Sustainable Ag Demonstration grants is December 15th.

The department says the program provides funds for testing ideas that have the potential to conserve natural resources and energy, enhance profitability and improve life on the farm.

Projects can last up to three years, and applicants may receive up to $25,000 dollars with the money made available in the spring.

Those interested are encouraged to contact the Minnesota Department of Agriculture for more information.
