Monday, Nov. 16

Day shift

Raymond Olivas, 66, of the 3000 block of U.S. Highway 54, was arrested on New Mexico Corrections Department warrant for an alleged probation violation at the Alamogordo Adult Probation and Parole Office. Olivas was jailed at the Otero County Detention Center on a no-bond hold pending his appearance in 12th Judicial District Court.

Alyssa Sanders, 21, of the 1100 block of Airport Avenue, was arrested on a N.M. Corrections Department warrant for an alleged probation violation at her home. Sanders was jailed at OCDC on a no-bond hold pending her appearance in District Court.

Patrick Martinez, 49, of the 700 block of Alaska Avenue, was arrested for alleged shoplifting at Albertson’s, 1300 E. 10th St., after he allegedly left the business without paying for merchandise. Martinez was jailed at OCDC in lieu of bond pending his appearance in Municipal Court.

Night shift

Robert E. Golightly, 60, homeless, was arrested for alleged trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia after APD officers located Golightly at Walgreens, 955 N. White Sands Blvd. He had been previously trespassed from the property by Walgreens’ employees. He was jailed at OCDC in lieu of bond pending his appearance in Magistrate Court.

Tuesday, Nov. 17

Day shift

Nathan Tickner, 37, of the 200 block of Plainview, was arrested for alleged failure to pay fines. Tickner was released to the Municipal Court.

Emmit Metcalf, 30, of the 1700 block of Palo Verde, was arrest for alleged failure to pay fines. Metcalf was released to the Municipal Court.

Joni Steinauer, 34,  of the 600 block of South Florida Avenue, was ticketed for alleged animals at large after Steinauer’s dogs were allegedly running loose. She is to appear in Municipal Court as directed.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested for a probation violation. He was transported to a juvenile detention facility pending his appearance in 12th Judicial Children’s Court.

An Americas Best Value Inn employee, 1401 S. White Sands Blvd., reported that an unknown suspect forcibly entered the building through the east side of the business then stole a 52 inch Samsung television, a grey HP desk top computer, an HP laser printer and caused about $10,000 in property damage. The investigation continues.

A resident in the 1200 block of South Canyon Place reported an unknown suspect fraudulently accessed the resident’s Pioneer Bank checking account then made about $3,000 in unauthorized purchases at several businesses nationwide. The investigation continues.

A 16-year-old boy was referred to the Juvenile Probation Office for possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop. The boy was released to his guardian pending notification from JPO.

Night shift

An 8- and 12-year-old boys were referred to JPO for larceny after the boys took a UPS package from the front door of a home in the 1300 block of 24th Street. The boys were released to their parents pending notification from JPO.

Gary D. Allyn, 52, homeless was arrested for alleged failure to appear. Allyn was jailed at OCDC pending his appearance in Magistrate Court.

Elecia E. Lopez, 27, was arrested for an alleged probation violation. Lopez was also charged with alleged possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine. She was jailed at OCDC in lieu of bond pending her appearance in court.

Wednesday, Nov. 18

Day shift

Mona Farris, 53, of the 1000 block of Zuni, was arrested for an alleged probation violation. Farris was jailed at OCDC in lieu of bond pending her appearance in District Court.

Jennifer Uhr, 36, of the 2200 block of First Street, was arrested for alleged failure to appear. Uhr was released on an unsecured bond pending her appearance in Municipal Court.

Carlos Guilez, 23, of Tularosa, was ticketed for alleged possession of a marijuana pipe after a public contact with officers. Guilez is to appear in Municipal Court as directed.

Todd Skinner, 44, of the 2300 block of Yale Avenue, turned himself in at APD headquarters, 700 Virginia Ave., on a Municipal Court warrant for alleged failure to appear. Skinner was released on an unsecured bond pending his appearance in court.

Tandie Bettag, 37, of the 20 block of White Oaks Court, was arrested for an alleged probation violation. Bettag was jailed at OCDC in lieu of bond pending her appearance in court.

Night shift

Palthera Shired, 47, of Tularosa, was ticketed for alleged shoplifting at Albertson’s, 1300 E. 10th St., Shired allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $11 in merchandise. He is to appear in Municipal Court as directed.

William R. Scott, 49, of the 1600 block of Hawaii Avenue, was charged with alleged trespassing at Motel 6, 251 Panorama Blvd., after Scott was allegedly causing a disturbance then was trespassed from the business. He left the motel but returned later to the business. Scott was jailed at OCDC in lieu of bond pending his appearance in court.

Christopher V. Mendoza, 28, of the 500 block of White Sands Boulevard, was arrested on a Town of Mesilla Municipal Court warrant for alleged failure to appear and pay fines. Mendoza was jailed at OCDC in lieu of bond pending his appearance in court.

Odell Haynes, 58, of the 900 block of South Florida Avenue, was ticketed for alleged falsely obtaining services after officers learned through investigation that Haynes allegedly refused to pay a $12 taxi cab fare. He is to appear in Municipal Court as directed.

Officers responded to Lowe’s Marketplace, 675 10th St., to a white man wearing a black hoodie, black shirt, gray or black pants with scratches on his face attempting to steal over $230 worth of groceries. The man had fled the business before police arrived. The investigation continues.

Thursday, Nov. 19

Day shift

Josh Gent, 37, of the 1700 block of Corte Alegre, was arrested for alleged failure to pay. Gent was released on an unsecured bond pending his appearance in Municipal Court.

A resident in the 1900 block of Juniper reported that sometime between 6 p.m. Nov. 18 and 7 a.m. Nov. 19 an unknown suspect entered the resident’s secured 2013 Ford F-150 while it was parked in the driveway then took a bag containing various tools, a Dewalt drill and a Dewalt impact drill. No suspects have been developed. The investigation continues.

Jose Morales, 82, of Las Cruces, was ticketed for alleged public nuisance after officers responded to a home in the 100 block of North New York Avenue of Morales allegedly urinating in the backyard. He is to appear in court as directed.

Night shift

A 13-year-old boy was referred to JPO for possession of marijuana less than an ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia and larceny under $250. The boy was found in possession of 4 grams of marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia found his bedroom. Officers learned through investigation that the boy stole the money from his grandmother. He was released to the custody of his parents pending notification from JPO.

Felicia Jackson, 48, of the 500 block of Brookdale Drive, was ticketed for alleged shoplifting at Albertson’s, 1300 E. 10th St. Officers learned through investigation that Jackson allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for a bottle of vodka worth over $9. She is to appear in court as directed.

Lane R. Guthrie, 20, of the 100 block of La Luz Gate Road, was arrested for alleged driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia and minor allowing self to be served. Guthrie was also arrested on an alleged probation violation. She was jailed on a no-bond hold for the probation violation and in lieu of bond for the other charges pending her appearance in court.

Justin Lucero, 22, of the 20 block of Solano, was ticketed for alleged possession of marijuana less than an ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia and vehicle entering a stop or yield intersection. Lucero is to appear in court as directed.

Jerome Noriega, 38, of the 400 block of Virginia Avenue, was ticketed for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia. Noriega was allegedly in possession of a marijuana pipe with marijuana residue and two syringes allegedly used to ingest illegal narcotics. He is to appear in Municipal Court as directed.

Ezekiel Cerda, 27, of the 40 block of Forsyth, was arrested for alleged failure to pay fines, unlawful possession of switchblades and possession of drug paraphernalia. During a traffic stop while being searched during his arrest process, officers allegedly located a switchblade, a butterfly knife and a syringe used to ingest illegal narcotics on Cerda. He was jailed at OCDC in lieu of bond pending his appearance in court.

Friday, Nov. 20

Day shift  

A business in the 2105 block of Cornell reported sometime between Jan. 1, and Nov. 20 an unknown suspect entered a 1993 Chevrolet Trailblazer and 1986 gray Nissan pickup truck then took the radiators from both vehicles, Trailblazer’s battery and the heater core from the Nissan. The suspect also took a set of Centerline chrome racing rims from within the business. The investigation continues.

Officers and emergency medical services personnel responded to the 2300 block of Abbott to an accident with injuries around 8 a.m. Officers learned through investigation a westbound white 2013 Hyundai sedan was sowing to turn into a driveway on Abbott then the vehicle was passed on the left by a 2006 black GMC Envoy causing a collision. The driver of the Hyundai was transported to Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. The GMC driver complained of an injury but refused treatment. The GMC driver was ticketed for limitations on overtaking on the left.

Katheryn Vanderpool, 36, Douglas Vanderpool, 26, both of the 1100 block of Adams and David Munoz, 43, of Hagerman, were ticketed for alleged criminal damage to property after officers observed Katheryn Vanderpool, Douglas Vanderpool and Munoz allegedly spray painting silhouettes on the street at 11th and Filmore Streets. Katheryn Vanderpool, Douglas Vanderpool and Munoz are to appear in court as directed.

William Pollard, 61, of the 1800 block of North Scenic Drive, was ticketed for alleged trespassing subsequent to an ongoing investigation that was initiated on Sept. 30. Pollard is to appear in court as directed.

Officers and AMR responded to 10th Street and Scenic Drive to a vehicle crash with injuries. Officers learned through investigation a black 2015 Camaro was traveling westbound on 10th Street then a northbound gold Chevrolet Tahoe hit the Camaro after disregarding the stop sign. The girl passenger of the Camaro and the Tahoe driver were transported to GCRMC for treatment of their non-life threating injuries. The Tahoe driver was ticketed for vehicle entering a stop or yield intersection.

Night shift

Delilah Hill, 51, of the 5900 block of U.S. Highway 54 South, was arrested for alleged failure to appear. Hill was jailed at OCDC in lieu of bond pending her appearance in court.

Officers responded to the 800 block of South White Sands Boulevard to a man with a severe eye injury. The man was transported by AMR to GCRMC then airlifted to an El Paso hospital for further treatment.

Saturday, Nov. 21

Day shift

Miranda Balderama, 22, of the 1400 block of Cuba Avenue, was arrested on a Lincoln County Magistrate Court warrant for alleged failure to appear and a Municipal Court warrant for alleged failure to appear. Balderama was also ticketed for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia. She was jailed at OCDC in lieu of bond pending her appearance in the respective courts.

Mark Ice, 63, of Boles Acres, was arrested for alleged failure to appear. Ice was released on an unsecured bond pending his appearance in court.

Daniel Terrazas, 28, of the 700 block of Brooks, was arrested for an alleged probation violation, failure to pay fines and ticketed for alleged driving while his license is suspended or revoked. Terrazas is to appear in court as directed.

Brenda Font, 56, was arrested for alleged DWI and child abuse after a vehicle crash with injuries at Canal and North White Sands Boulevard around 5:45 p.m. Font was also ticketed for alleged vehicle entering a stop or yield intersection. Officers learned through investigation that a 2005 red Dodge pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Canal then allegedly failed to yield the right of way to a northbound black 2003 Suzuki SUV causing a collision. The Suzuki driver was treated at the scene.

Ryan Ramer, 25, of the 30 block of Moonwalk, was ticketed for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia at a home in the 1400 block of Cuba. Ramer is to appear in court as directed.

Niel Rodriguez, 27, of the 1400 block of Cuba, was ticketed for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia. Rodriguez is to appear in court as directed.

Officers located an open door in 1300 block 24th St. around 8 a.m. Officers observed the door was forced open. The property owner responded to the residence and reported an Asus desktop computer and monitor were taken from the property. The investigation continues.

Rebecca Font, 31, of Cloudcroft, was ticketed for alleged battery on a household member after officers were dispatched to 2100 block of North Florida Avenue in reference to a fight. Officers learned Ms. Font allegedly battered her boyfriend leaving visible signs of injury. Ms. Font is to appear in Magistrate Court as directed.

A resident in the 1200 Puerto Rico reported sometime between 10 p.m. Nov. 19 and 5 a.m. Nov. 20 an unknown suspect stole the resident’s 1984 Silver Mercedes Benz turbo diesel vehicle with New Mexico license plate No. 309NHL from the driveway of the home. The vehicle has been entered NCIC. The investigation continues.

A resident in the 1200 block of Florida Avenue reported between midnight and 2 a.m. that an unknown suspect took a black and pink woman’s 26 inch mountain bike with a Gorilla lock and chain from the side of the home. The investigation continues.
