Missouri rainfall delays late harvest activity

Programs ICON

Heavy rainfall in Missouri kept soybean producers from wrapping up harvest activity last week.

96% of soybeans are harvested, only up 2% on the week, but in-line with the typical pace.

The cotton and sorghum harvests are both slower than average, by a couple of percentage points.

96% of winter wheat has been planted, matching the average, and 90% has emerged, ahead of normal, with 49% rated good to excellent.

54% of pastures and rangelands are in fair condition.
