Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara
Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara

For quite some time, I’ve been told about the Mary Kay Lash Love mascara, but only just had the chance to try it myself. Mary Kay isn’t a brand I delve into very often, but I’m so pleased that I’ve tried this. As you can see, it has a spiked brush rather than a fat brush, so you get some excellent definition going on without any weight. In fact, if they’d said it was Lancome, I’d believe it because it reminds me so much of the Volume A Porter.

I definitely got longer looking, spikey lashes with no product hardening so my lashes still looked and felt soft considering they had two coats applied. You don’t get thickening in the way that fat mascaras give and neither is it a massive lash attack – it’s really just a perfect day mascara and a very deep black on the pigment, too. There’s also a brown shade. I’ve hung onto this limited edition packaging for so long that it’s not actually available like this any more (now a sensible black tube!) but the link takes you to exactly the same product – different dress.

Actually, the price is £16 so really, you absolutely should be getting a very decent mascara for that amount – Mary Kay isn’t my first port of call to even think of mascaras so if I hadn’t already tried it, I’m not sure I would splash out. In my view, it’s £16 well spent because it does go over and above in terms of result and quality. You can find it HERE.
