Sequins and Holly

Good Morning, it is Shirley here and I am back with a card I made for the Classy Cards 'n Such Challenge #105-Holly Days. We are to add holly or a poinsettia to our cards this week. Christmas is sneaking up on us, so it will be good to have another Christmas card made to add to my stash.

I started with a white card base.  I added a layer of green and silver foil from the Foil Paper - Textured Patterns 1. This is a great pack of papers, and it has a total of 50 (5X5) pieces of paper. There are 5 different colors and patterns. I used this last year for my Christmas cards, and I still have a lot of it left.

I cut the Memory Box Holly Bouquet, using white card stock. I cut two more of them, using the red and green foil paper. I used pieces of it to fill in the holly and berries on the first die cut. I adhered this over the silver paper.

I cut the Memory Box Corner Bow, using the red foil paper, and adhered it to the top corner of the card using the Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive/Metal Tip applicator. I added Silver Rhinestones to the bow, to give it more sparkle.

I used the Spellbinders Fancy Label Tags 1 with white card stock. I stamped 'Peace' on it using the Impression Obsession Christmas Sentiments.

I scattered red Sequins around the card and attached them with Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive. There is a die in the CCNS online store, that is called Sequins, by MFT. The sequins graduate in size, row by row on the die. Use the die with foil paper and viola! It is listed below in the supply list.

I hope I will see your card uploaded on the blog for this challenge. We love seeing your cards and your take on the challenges.

Loving what you have done with all this foil - so festive - and the trailing ribbon down the side just leads the eye to the holly in the center and your wish of Peace! Great imagination!!
