General Mills reducing greenhouse gases

General Mills says it will cut greenhouse gases from the farm to the landfill by nearly 30-percent in the next 10 years.  In a news release, the company says by 2050, it plans to reduce absolute emissions by 50-70 percent.  The company says it has decreased emissions by 13 percent over the last decade by being more energy efficient.  General Mills says it has expanded partnerships with Field to Market and the Innovations Center for Dairy to encourage sustainable farming practices.
