Allen Park — The Lions look like a much healthier team than last week.

In addition to Haloti Ngata and Joique Bell being activated from their respective injury lists, defensive end Ezekiel Ansah (ankle), linebacker Kyle Van Noy (undisclosed) and tight end Eric Ebron (undisclosed) all practiced Monday after missing Friday’s exhibition win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Ebron returned to practice last week, but still sat the game for precautionary reasons. Ansah said after the game he planned to be ready by Week 1, so practicing is a good sign that he’s on track for the regular season.

Van Noy’s return, meanwhile, was surprising as he and coach Jim Caldwell have described his injury as week to week. A second-round pick in 2014, Van Noy said Saturday he was feeling much better than the previous week and that he expected to avoid the injured reserve, designated for return list he started on last year, which would’ve held him out for eight games.

Although the Lions welcomed some players back at practice, linebacker DeAndre Levy (undisclosed), cornerback Alex Carter (ankle), defensive tackle Caraun Reid (ankle) and right guard Larry Warford (ankle) were out. However, Reid and Warford were both watching practice after not being on the field at all last week, which is a good sign of how they’re healing.
