Congressman talks with farmers on their turf
One Ohio Congressman recognizes the importance of talking with farmers on their turf.
Congressman Bob Latta says there’s a good reason he spends a few days visiting farms in the 5th District.
“I represent the largest income producing ag district in the State of Ohio,” Latta said. “When it comes to corn production I’m number 23 out of 435 Districts, so we’re way up there, agriculture is a huge part of my District.”

On Monday, August 24, Congressman Latta was in Williams and Henry Counties.
Matt Seedorf with Sunnyville Farms at Deshler tells Brownfield he appreciated the Congressman and Ohio Department of Agriculture Director Dave Daniels coming to the farm.
“Well, I think it’s always positive to get the heads of the State out here and see what actually goes on in rural America,’ said Seedorf.
