The American Dairy Association Mideast unveiled their annual butter sculpture at the 2015 Ohio State Fair on Tuesday, July 28.
This year’s butter display celebrates the Ohio State Buckeye’s national championship.
In addition to the traditional butter cow and calf, the display features life-size sculptures of Ohio State head football coach Urban Meyer and mascot Brutus Buckeye, a larger-than-life carvings of the national championship trophy and two Ohio State football helmets.
The 2015 display is made from 2,000 pounds of butter, donated in part by Dairy Farmers of America.
The butter display is in the Dairy Products Building at the Ohio State Fair, July 29 through August 9.
