The Fourth of July in the U.S. is coming up soon! It’s one of my favorite holidays. When we moved to Utah a few years ago, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that our new neighorhood has had a home-town Fourth of July parade for the past 60 or so years. It’s right around the corner from our home. It actually happens right in front of the 1905 Cottage. Isn’t that fun??

We spend a lot of time outdoors as a family in the summer. Luckily I found a few new things this year that make our outdoor spaces cleaner so we are ready for Summer parties and get-togethers. I’ve talked over the years about my love of Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, so I was super excited to find out that there is an outdoor version.  I love it.

Here’s an easy way to decorate for the Fourth. Simply print out these striped printables, fold them up and add one of the printable stars to the center. You can use them alone as patriotic lollies, attach them to tissue paper medallions (you can find them at any party store) and hang them on your mantel, from your porch or as a festive banner.

I am just in love with the 1905 Cottage I’m renovating.

For the past couple of years I have had such a fun time being part of Riley Blake’s Design Team. I have only been sewing for a couple of years so being on this team with so many AMAZING sewers has been a Dream-Come-True.
